The great thing about having repeat clients is you get to grow with them. For many clients, I’ve done engagement photos all the way through to their first child. This is becoming more and more common and its a great thing.
Andrea has been a long time client and I’ve taken many portrait sessions for her and now I’m on her second baptism. Always fun getting to really know your clients and be happy for them as they grow. Check out the photos from this church baptism.

Sometimes cool locations really make your special day even more special. Here’s a great wedding that was at the historic Paramount Ranch outside of Los Angeles. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, I got some awesome photos of this unique and special wedding!!
Its been a while since I’ve posted any updates.. I’ve been super busy this spring and I have a ton of updates coming. This is the first of many. Since its the spring and graduation season, many graduation party’s are happening. I was fortunate a client hired me for a really fun one in Gloucester, MA. Great to see Heather’s celebrating many years of hard work!
I haven’t posted any recent shoots in a while, and this one was a lot of fun. Met with a local business owner looking to take some portraits for her website. Super fun session at her home and the results came out awesome. This is notable since these look like studio shots, but I didnt bring anything other than my camera and some lighting. So even in this cold, drab winter we are having, you too can get some awesome results!
The city of Boston was finally set to honor one of team sports biggest champions, Bill Russell. He won so many championships for the Boston Celtics and did it with style and class. He stood up against terrible racism and hatred for speaking his mind and standing up for black Americans. Boston had long ignored these accomplishments and finally did the right thing by giving him a statue.
This event I did not have press credentials or any insider access. In fact, they moved the event an hour early after telling the public it had been cancelled. I arrived shortly after the official unveiling but I was able to get some good photos of the statue and of Bill Russell himself. Event photography is like that sometimes, you never know what conditions or access you will be able to get.
I recently had the opportunity to shoot a really cool event held by Comcast Sportsnet, which featured Boston Celtics rookie Kelly Olynyk. The party was a fan celebration with ticket giveaways, CSN broadcasters and meet and greet with Kelly. This even was held at the Harp in Boston, across the street from the TD Garden. It was a great way to get ready for the upcoming NBA season, learn more about the Celtics newest rookie and meet other fans. I’ve always wanted to get a few girls together to do a cool silhouette shoot. I had the opportunity recently at Waltham’s Gore Place between some portrait sessions. I’m really encouraged by the results! Could make a good addition an engagement session or family photos.
While I do a large amount of portraiture work, it is primary adults looking for photos for professional reasons or social media. This event was unique for myself, part baptism at a Russian Orthodox church and part impromptu baby portrait session. It was definitely fun but challenging. The biggest challenge during the event was not speaking Russian. It was tough to tell when the next ceremony coming up was important or not. Fortunatly the parents were good about pointing out where to be during the event. Plus at the end we got some great portraits of the newly baptized baby.
Headshot sessions are a fairly common service that I provide to my clients. Common as they might be, these types of sessions are the most fun! Clients always are pleasantly surprised at what we can accomplish in a short time for such a minimal cost. I love clients that are camera shy but really open up and we create some really cool images. This client, Tami, needed some headshots for her professional portfolio. Using just her living room we came up with studio quality results.
My first ever Wedding Rehearsal party that I’ve been hired to shoot, and I couldn’t ask for a better location. On Lake Champlain in Burlington, VT with spectacular views and gorgeous fall weather. This was a fun event as most of the wedding party and special guests attended the night before the Bride and Groom’s big day.
